Join us for a fabulous Walking Tour of 5 historic homes and gardens in beautiful Alexandria, VA. This self-guided tour will include some of the original homes of the founders of Alexandria.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants nearby. There are so many choices, but excellent recommendations are readily available.
In the afternoon, we will continue on to Mt. Vernon, the home of George and Martha Washington where we will tour the house and farm (at your leisure) and stroll the elegant gardens. Located on the banks of the Potomac River, this is one of America’s premier historic homes.
Sponsored by the Virginia Garden Club which also maintains the gardens at Mt. Vernon, this trip promises to be the highlight of your Spring!
The cost which includes bus, tickets, and gratuity for the driver is $85.00 per person.
We will depart from a location (TBD) near Bel Air at 7:30 am and return around 8:00 pm.
